It seems After Tuesday has been making quite a name for themselves as producers-in-demand while on hiatus from recording their own material. The guys not only produced and mixed the debut album for popular Canadian country singer Derek James Tilley — who had success at radio and a song hitting #1 on the iTunes Canadian Country chart — they are also wrapping up the final details on a project for up-and-comer Stacey Jamieson, and getting a new project launched for country singer Amy Rose.
“We’ve always been really ‘hands-on’ in the studio, and I’m by my own admission a tech-nerd (lol), so producing and mixing has been a natural evolution in our career path. And Glenn and I have known each other for so long it seems we’re always on the same page creatively, and pushing each other to see what else we can do to make a song and a project better. I really credit our early musical roots singing a cappella together back in high school with giving us a solid base for arranging and harmonizing,” said Marty.
While growing this aspect of their career don’t count After Tuesday — as artists — out…they plan on getting into the studio later in the year to record their long overdue sophomore album.

The latest single “Last Train” by country artist Derek James Tilley is making a run up the charts! The song, which was co-written and produced by AFTER TUESDAY, was just released a few weeks ago and is already in rotation on dozens of radio stations nation-wide!
As always - you know what I’m about to say - be sure to request the song at your favourite radio station!
Thanks so much!
AFTER TUESDAY recently returned from Vancouver for the 2009 Canadian Country Music Awards. “What an amazing time we had,” said Marty. “So much to do, so little time! It was great to catch up with friends, and squeeze in some business too.” “A definite highlight for me was AT getting on stage at the Ole party with our buddies from Emerson Drive to do some cover tunes,” added Glenn. The guys also made the most of their time out west by songwriting with hitmaker Tal Bachman and veteran songwriter/producer Dave Pickell.

After Tuesday performed a great set at the 1st annual Barrie Earth Hour Music Festival. They rocked the downtown Barrie crowd of some 3500 strong along with fellow performers David Usher, Tal Bachman, Derek James Tilley, Stacey Jamieson and Final Thought. Barrie Mayor Dave Aspden and Barrie MPP and Minister of Culture Aileen Carroll were also on hand to welcome the crowd and say a few words about the significance of supporting Earth Hour.
Ontarians as a whole were enthusiastic about Earth Hour showing a decrease in electricity demand of more than 6%. The numbers were even better locally showing a 10% decrease in Simcoe County and a whopping 15.1% in Toronto!
As organizers of the event After Tuesday would like to thank all the sponsors, volunteers, staff and everyone in attendance for making this such a great event in only its first year! More importantly a big thank you to everyone who supports Earth Hour everyday by eliminating non-essential use of power and helping to combat climate change.
See you next year!

After Tuesday recently made an appearance on the popular tv morning show ‘A-Morning’ to promote the 1st Annual Barrie Arts Awards. The guys were honoured to be chosen by their hometown to entertain the crowd (including MPP Aileen Carroll and Barrie Mayor Dave Aspden) at this prestigious event, which was also the very first performance in Barrie’s brand new studio theatre located in the heart of downtown. Fellow After Tuesday Productions artist Derek James Tilley was a nominee in the ‘Emerging Artist’ category.
Marty and Glenn recently lent their support to Hospice Simcoe. Not only was Marty one of the event organizers, but both Marty and Glenn served as the MCs for the Dec. 2 fundraiser concert featuring Amy Sky and The Nylons at Barrie’s Gryphon Theatre.
